Investing in Spaces and Places Funding – Kippen Village Hall

January 28th, 2025

Kippen Village Hall received once of our Investing in Spaces and Places grants for £15,815, via Asda Alloa. Their goal was to raise funds to refurbish their hall flooring, accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.

Kippen Village Hall is a community space providing sports and leisure facilities for their local community, from playgroups to badminton club to school performances, and much more.

The existing floor had become a trip hazard, no longer meeting safety standards. As this space hosts a variety of activities to improve health and well-being, the provision of new flooring was essential for the hall to maintain the usability of the space.

The accessible toilet and baby change facility had become tired and needed an update to ensure the space is clean, welcoming and accessible to all.

This project has ensured the hall is in a good state of repair for future hall users to enjoy safely, as well as opening up opportunities for a wider range of activities for the surrounding community.

We are all thrilled and amazed at the response to our funding appeals and want to thank all those who worked to get this project underway, and especially to The Asda Foundation who have funded us so generously.  There is more to do but, with this terrific start, we remain inspired to reach all our goals. Thank you.
