Foodbank Fundamentals Funding – Centenary Methodist Church Boston

Boston Centenary Methodist Church provide hot meals, cooked from fresh ingredients, twice a week, free of charge to anyone in the community. The group received a grant for £1,000 via Asda Boston, with funding used to purchase a large freezer to enable the group to store local produce that is being donated to them.

“I am thrilled that this project was one of four local initiatives to receive a £1,000 grant from Asda Foundation’s Foodbank Fundamentals programme. This funding will help to support people in the community around our store who are struggling or may feel lonely and isolated.”
