New Grant Window Open

Asda Foundation has launched a new round of grants this week. Grants available are Empowering Local Communities, Under 18s Better Starts and a new Cost of Living grant. This our final round of grants for 2022 and we will be accepting applications from Monday 19th September. Criteria documents are available now and you can find them here.

Increases to the cost of living have added pressures to all communities across the UK. Asda Foundation are responding to this by supporting community groups throughout this difficult period. Community organisations are once again stepping up to support local people who are worst hit by the crisis, and we want to support these groups so that they can carry on doing their vital work.

Our new Cost of Living grant has been introduced, with applications accepted on 19th September. The grant focuses on supporting groups with increased costs relating to rent and utility bill support, as well as increased costs associated with essential food provision. Grant applications can vary from £500 to £2,000, with the full list of criteria available on our website here: https://www.asdafoundation.org/how-to-apply.

We have also carried on our Empowering Local Communities and Under 18 Better Starts grants. These grants will support community groups who are providing new or existing activities and services to the community which bring people together, tackle isolation and address local issues which are not directly related to the cost of living.

Asda Foundation grants are initially reviewed by Community Champions in Asda stores. To locate your nearest Community Champion, use the Asda Store Locator here: https://storelocator.asda.com/. Once you have located your local store, the contact details for the store's Community Champion can be found further down the page. Please note, not all stores have a Community Champion.

We are here to support your local community during this time of need. If you have any questions regarding our grants or are unable to contact a local Community Champion, Asda Foundation can be contacted at asdafoundation@asda.co.uk.
